Frequent bowel movements in a person depend on what are his/her routine defecation. Bowel movements differ widely in healthy individuals. Some individuals have one bowel movement each day, whereas there are others who have them thrice a week. At the same time, frequency of bowel movements for a person is different over a certain time period.

Lactose Intolerance

Individuals with lactose intolerance and having milk or other dairy products such as yogurt at nighttime may likewise deal with indigestion, leading to extreme gas. Lactose intolerance indicates the body is not in a position to digest lactose, a type of sugar present in dairy products. This occurs because of absence of lactase in little intestine, an enzyme required for food digestion of lactose.
